Lebaran, PT KA Added 28 Trains
VIVAnews -The spiralling number of would-be passengers admits Lebaran this PT Kereta Api set up 28 additional trains for the area of Java and Sumatra. So then all trains totalled 151.
Director of PT Kereta Api Ignatius Jonan after checking the infrastructure of railways said, two of the 28 additional trains for the area of operations VI DIY-Central Java. "That train Community Bengawan (economy) and Argolawu (Executive)," he said in Yogyakarta, Saturday, August 19, 2011.
According to him, nowadays almost all locomotive train has been issued. "We've only got two spare locomotive," said Jonan.
He assured that all train cars used to transport Lebaran has checked kelayakannya. "All viable way," he said.
Jonan also says, PT Kereta Api in cooperation with the police had checked the tracks in a number of paths that traversed the flow go. (Report Erick Tanjung, Yogyakarta)
